Commenting on the current media landscape, Murugan said, "Anyone can start a YouTube channel and speak about anything. To regulate this, a new Broadcasting Bill is coming." He urged YouTube channels and online media to act responsibly, revealing that 69 YouTube channels operating against national interests have been blocked.
