Decomposed Body of Young Man Discovered in Apartment Near Singanallur, Coimbatore

A 32-year-old man's decomposed body was found in an apartment near Singanallur, Coimbatore. The deceased, Krishnakumar, had been living alone after a dispute with his wife. Police are investigating the cause of death.


Coimbatore: In a shocking incident, the decomposed body of a 32-year-old man was discovered in an apartment building near Singanallur, Coimbatore. The deceased, identified as Krishnakumar, was a native of Palani in Dindigul district and had been working as an employee at a private hospital in Sundarapuram.

Krishnakumar had been residing alone in an apartment in Balaji Nagar, Varadarajapuram, near Singanallur, following a disagreement with his wife. Neighbors reported that he hadn't been seen leaving his apartment for the past two days.

On the morning of September 12, residents of the area noticed a foul smell emanating from Krishnakumar's apartment. They immediately alerted the Singanallur Police Station. Upon receiving the information, police officers rushed to the scene and broke open the door. Inside, they found Krishnakumar's body in a decomposed state.

Preliminary investigations suggest that Krishnakumar might have died about two days ago. The exact cause of death is yet to be determined. The police have seized the body and sent it to the ESI Government Hospital in Singanallur for post-mortem examination.

Authorities have informed Krishnakumar's relatives in Palani about the incident. The unexpected death has caused a stir in the Singanallur area, with local residents expressing shock and concern.

The Singanallur police have registered a case and are conducting further investigations to ascertain the circumstances surrounding Krishnakumar's death. They are exploring various angles, including the possibility of suicide or any foul play involved in the incident.
