Coimbatore: Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) candidate Kanimozhi actively campaigned in the Cowndampalayam Assembly constituency, distributing pamphlets and introducing herself to local residents while seeking votes ahead of the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections scheduled for January 23.

As the election date approaches, candidates from various political parties and independent contestants have intensified their door-to-door campaigns, directly meeting with voters across constituencies. Multiple parties are conducting extensive promotional activities to reach out to the electorate.

As part of this electoral outreach, Kanimozhi, the TVK candidate for Cowndampalayam constituency in Coimbatore district, visited the Narasimhanayakkanpalayam area yesterday. She made rounds to various commercial establishments including shops and petrol stations, distributing campaign literature to introduce herself to potential voters.

During her campaign trail in Narasimanayakkanpalayam, Kanimozhi personally visited petrol bunks, department stores, and numerous other commercial outlets operating in the locality. She engaged with people present at these locations, handed out pamphlets introducing herself, and requested them to vote for the Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam party by selecting the whistle symbol on the ballot.

The candidate's grassroots approach reflects the party's strategy to establish direct contact with voters and build familiarity in the constituency before the polling day.
