AIADMK Leaders Pay Tribute to Perarignar Anna Statue on Avinashi Road

AIADMK leaders in Coimbatore commemorated Perarignar Anna's 116th birth anniversary by garlanding his statue on Avinashi Road. The event was led by former minister SP Velumani and attended by various party officials.


Coimbatore: On September 15, AIADMK leaders in Coimbatore paid tribute to Perarignar Anna on his 116th birth anniversary by garlanding his statue on Avinashi Road. The event was organized by the Coimbatore Urban District AIADMK.

The ceremony was led by SP Velumani MLA, former minister and party whip, who is also the secretary of the Coimbatore Outer South District party unit. Other prominent leaders present included Vijay Prabhakaran from DMDK, Amman K Arjunan MLA, the Coimbatore Urban District party secretary, and KR Jayaram MLA, the secretary of the Coimbatore Urban District MGR Youth Wing.



Several other party officials and former ministers participated in the event, including Sem Veluchamy, Pollachi Duraisamy, Parthiban, Singai Balan, and Pons (aka) Ponnusamy. Various wing secretaries such as R Prabhakaran, Lali Road Radha, Puratchi Thambi, A Manikandan, KK Sakthivel, Hameed, and SR Ravi were also present. The gathering included ward secretaries, district, area, and circle party administrators, party volunteers, and allied party executives.

The event showcased the unity and strength of the AIADMK party in Coimbatore, as they came together to honor the memory of Perarignar Anna, a significant figure in Tamil Nadu's political history.
