Government Employees' Association Stages Protest in Udumalpet

The Tamil Nadu Government Employees' Association's Udumalpet branch held a protest in front of the Taluk Office, expressing solidarity with Samsung workers and condemning anti-labor policies.


Tirupu: The Udumalpet branch of the Tamil Nadu Government Employees' Association staged a protest demonstration in front of the Udumalpet Taluk Office in Tirupur district yesterday. The protest was held in support of Samsung workers and to condemn anti-labor policies.



Venkadusamy, the branch secretary, presided over the demonstration. Dasan, the district branch president of the All Department Pensioners' Association, delivered a condemnation speech. Following this, several officials spoke out against the anti-labor stance of the administration.

The event saw participation from various association officials, including Sivakumar, Balasubramanian, and Amsa Raj. Jagadeeswaran, a member of the district executive committee, delivered the vote of thanks at the conclusion of the protest.

The demonstration highlighted the growing concerns among government employees regarding labor rights and working conditions. The association's support for Samsung workers underscores the solidarity among different sectors of the workforce in addressing labor issues.
