Coimbatore: AIADMK Kavundampalayam constituency candidate PRG Arunkumar conducted an intensive door-to-door campaign in Periyanayakkanpalayam and surrounding areas, seeking support for the National Democratic Alliance and the two leaves symbol.

Arunkumar, who serves as AIADMK Coimbatore North Suburban District Secretary, campaigned extensively in Periyanayakkanpalayam Tamil Nadu Housing Board residential area, Kasthuripalayam, Kuppichchipalayam, and other surrounding localities. He went street by street, interacting with residents and soliciting votes for the two leaves symbol.

The AIADMK candidate received an overwhelming welcome from local residents, particularly women, who performed traditional aarti, broke pumpkins to ward off evil eye, and garlanded him with cardamom garlands as a mark of respect and good wishes. More than 50 young volunteers accompanied him on two-wheelers throughout the campaign trail, helping mobilize support.

Addressing the public during his campaign, Arunkumar emphasized that all schemes announced in the AIADMK election manifesto would be implemented in the area if the party is elected to power. He appealed to voters to support the two leaves symbol to ensure that both state and central government schemes reach the constituency effectively.

The AIADMK candidate launched a scathing attack on the DMK government, stating that the Dravidian Progressive Party had been in power for the past five years based on false promises without delivering on any of them. He characterized the current administration as one that has failed to maintain law and order in the state.

"The DMK government has failed the people of Tamil Nadu. This is a regime that has compromised law and order, and it needs to be removed from power," Arunkumar told the gathering. He urged voters to send Stalin home and bring Edappadi Palaniswami to Fort St. George as the Chief Minister.

The AIADMK candidate concluded his campaign by making a direct appeal to the electorate of Kavundampalayam constituency to vote for the two leaves symbol and ensure his victory in the upcoming assembly elections. His campaign focused on highlighting the alleged failures of the DMK government while promising better governance and implementation of welfare schemes under AIADMK leadership.

The campaign witnessed enthusiastic participation from party workers and local residents, indicating a competitive electoral battle in the Kavundampalayam constituency.
