Rumours claiming that CBSE Class 12 results would be announced immediately have been denied by senior CBSE officials. According to PTI, Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj said there is no delay in the On-Screen Marking (OSM) evaluation process and that the results are likely to be declared in the third week of May.
New Delhi: Speculation over the CBSE Class 12 board examination results being declared immediately has been dismissed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
According to PTI, CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj clarified that reports suggesting an immediate result announcement are incorrect.
He stated that there is no delay in the board’s newly introduced On-Screen Marking (OSM) evaluation process and that answer sheet assessment is progressing smoothly.
Bhardwaj further said that the CBSE Class 12 results are likely to be announced in the third week of May 2026, instead of the dates being speculated online.
The clarification comes amid widespread rumours on social media regarding an early declaration of results. Lakhs of students and parents across the country have been eagerly awaiting the outcome after the completion of the board examinations.
CBSE officials have advised students to rely only on official announcements made through the board’s websites and authorised communication channels.
Once declared, students will be able to access their scorecards through official CBSE portals, DigiLocker and other authorised platforms, according to PTI.
