Senthil Balaji Takes Oath as MLA in Tamil Nadu Assembly

DMK candidate Senthil Balaji from Coimbatore South constituency officially took oath as Member of Legislative Assembly today during the first session of Tamil Nadu's 17th Legislative Assembly at 9:30 AM on May 11.


Coimbatore: The first session of Tamil Nadu's 17th Legislative Assembly commenced today (May 11) at 9:30 AM, marking a significant milestone in the state's political landscape.




During this inaugural session, newly elected Members of Legislative Assembly are taking their oath of office in sequential order. Among them, Senthil Balaji, who contested and won from the Coimbatore South constituency on a DMK ticket, formally took his oath as MLA today.




The swearing-in ceremony is part of the constitutional process that follows every state assembly election. The newly elected representatives are required to take their oath before assuming their legislative duties and responsibilities.




Senthil Balaji's victory in Coimbatore South constituency represents DMK's continued presence in the region. His assumption of office marks the beginning of his tenure as the people's representative for the constituency.
