Two TVK MLAs From Coimbatore District Become Ministers

TVK MLAs Sampath Kumar and Vignesh Kumar, representing Coimbatore North and Kinathukadavu constituencies have reportedly been inducted into the Tamil Nadu cabinet.


Coimbatore: The Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) government has reportedly announced the second phase of its cabinet expansion, with two legislators from Coimbatore Assembly Constituency being inducted into the ministry.

Coimbatore North MLA Sampath Kumar and Kinathukadavu MLA Vignesh Kumar have been appointed as ministers in the expanded cabinet.

Sources further stated that both leaders took oath as ministers today along with other newly inducted cabinet members.

It is learnt that a total of 23 ministers have now been announced as part of the TVK cabinet. While a few senior party leaders were given ministerial responsibilities shortly after the party assumed power, the remaining cabinet positions were officially filled and announced today.

The development has generated excitement among TVK cadres and supporters across Coimbatore district and other parts of the State.
