Coimbatore: In a major step towards strengthening public safety and technology-driven policing services, the Coimbatore District Police has established a new Master Command and Control Centre (MCCC) at the Coimbatore District Police Office.
The inauguration ceremony of the newly established centre is scheduled to be held today (May 21) at 4 PM.
According to police officials, the centre has been created to integrate and monitor critical policing and emergency response services round the clock through advanced technology systems.
Services including CCTV surveillance monitoring, Dial-100 emergency response, cyber crime monitoring, women and child safety surveillance, and anti-narcotics monitoring activities will function under a single integrated platform.
Police officials stated that the Master Command and Control Centre will significantly improve coordination, rapid response capabilities, and overall public safety management across Coimbatore district.
