Former Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai has invited supporters for a social media interaction at 12 noon on Friday after thanking them for birthday wishes. The announcement has fueled speculation about his political future as posters across Coimbatore urge him to launch a new political party following his BJP exit.

Coimbatore: Amid widespread speculation surrounding the political future of former Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai, his latest invitation to supporters and well-wishers for an interaction on social media has sparked fresh discussions across political circles.

In a message posted on the occasion of his birthday, Annamalai thanked his family, friends, supporters, and well-wishers for their greetings and affection. He said the overwhelming support shown by the people had strengthened his resolve to work with greater dedication for the welfare of farmers, youth, women, children, and all sections of society in Tamil Nadu.

Significantly, Annamalai announced that he would interact with the public through social media platforms tomorrow at around 12 noon to exchange views and engage in open discussions. The announcement comes at a time when there is intense speculation that he may launch a new political party following his recent exit from the BJP.

The speculation has been further fueled by supporters across Coimbatore putting up posters in various locations urging Annamalai to float a new political movement and assuring him of their support. Several posters have called upon him to provide an alternative political platform in Tamil Nadu, while others have projected him as a leader capable of bringing political change.

Adding to the buzz, some Rajinikanth supporters in Coimbatore have also erected posters expressing support for Annamalai and urging him to enter a new political phase by launching a party.

Against this backdrop, Annamalai's call for a social media interaction with supporters has generated fresh expectations and curiosity over whether he may outline his future political plans or respond to the growing demand from sections of his supporters for a new political outfit.

While Annamalai has not made any official announcement regarding the formation of a new party, his interaction scheduled for tomorrow is being closely watched by supporters and political observers alike.
