ENIX '26 Association Inaugurated at Tamilnadu College of Engineering

The Departments of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Instrumentation and Control Engineering at Tamilnadu College of Engineering jointly inaugurated the ENIX '26 departmental association for the 2026–27 academic year to promote students' technical and leadership skills.

The Departments of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) and Instrumentation and Control Engineering (ICE) at Tamilnadu College of Engineering jointly inaugurated their departmental association, ENIX '26, for the academic year 2026–27 on July 27.



The programme began with a prayer song followed by the traditional lighting of the kuthu vilakku by the dignitaries. Prof. G. Ramya, Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, welcomed the gathering.

Dr. N. S. Sakthivel Murugan, Principal of the college, felicitated the gathering and highlighted the importance of departmental association activities in enhancing students' technical knowledge, leadership qualities and organisational skills. He encouraged students to organise more academic and professional programmes in the future.



The inaugural address was delivered by the chief guest, Thirugnanam Ramachandran, Co-founder of Tekshei Business Pvt. Ltd. He spoke about the vital role of electrical engineers in everyday life and across industries, while highlighting the growing importance of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Instrumentation and Control Engineering in both the software and hardware sectors. He urged students to continuously upgrade their technical skills to meet emerging industry requirements.

A flash video showcasing the achievements and activities of the two departments was presented during the programme. Dr. Anusha Ravi, CEO of Park Institutions, conveyed her wishes to the organisers and assured the institution's continued support for technical events.



The event concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by T. Roopa, Student Chairperson of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, who thanked the chief guest, the principal, faculty members, organising committee and students for contributing to the success of the event.
