Coimbatore-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express Rescheduled by Over 7 Hours on August 17

Train No.11014 Coimbatore-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express scheduled to depart at 08.50 hrs on August 17, 2026, will now leave at 16.30 hrs due to late running of pairing train, causing delay of 7 hours 40 minutes for passengers.

Coimbatore: The Southern Railway's Salem Division has announced a significant rescheduling of the Coimbatore-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express, affecting passengers planning to travel on August 17, 2026.

Train No.11014, which operates on the route via Salem, Dharmapuri, and Hosur, was originally scheduled to depart from Coimbatore Junction at 08.50 hrs. However, the train will now leave at 16.30 hrs on the same day, resulting in a delay of 7 hours and 40 minutes.

According to G. Maria Michael, Public Relations Officer of Salem Division, Southern Railway, the rescheduling has been necessitated due to the late running of the pairing train. This operational adjustment is expected to impact passengers who had made travel plans based on the original departure time.

Passengers holding confirmed tickets for this service are advised to take note of the revised departure time and plan their journey to Coimbatore Junction accordingly. The train will continue to operate on its regular route covering Salem, Dharmapuri, and Hosur before reaching its final destination at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus.

Railway authorities have expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to passengers and have assured that such measures are taken to maintain the overall efficiency and safety of train operations across the network.
