District Employment Office & SNR College jointly presents Career Guidance and awareness programme

The District Employment Office and SNR Sons College today jointly organized a Career Guidance cum Awareness Generation Programme on 17.08.2016 at the SNR Auditorium.

Dr.K.Karunakaran, Principal of SNR College welcomed the gathering and highlighted the significance of career guidance to the students and also the initiatives devised by SNR towards achieving it.

A. Latha, Joint Director of Employment, Coimbatore Region ,A. Jothimani, Deputy Director of Employment, Coimbatore , Mr.Vanagamudi, President of MSME, Coimbatore, Dr.Umashankar, Director JSS, Avinashilingam University, Mr.Thamaraiselvan, Station Director, All India Radio, Mr.Gandhi, Assistant Director, District Employment Exchange, Coimbatore, and Ms.Gayathri, young Professional, Ministry of Labour were the dignitaries for the event.

A. Latha, Joint Director of Employment, explained on the diverse government jobs opportunities available and the ways to excel in Government competitive examinations.

Deputy Director of Employment, A. Jothimani, revealed the various facilities available in the District Employment exchange like skill training and competitive exam training for the students.

Dr. Vengadesan, Director of Placement , SNR Group of Institutions and Dr.R.Thirumoorthi, Head of social Work department, Faculties and Students actively participated in the eye-opening event.
