108 ambulance staffs allege employer for non-payment of pay hikes


The 108 ambulance workers today petitioned to the district collector alleging their employer GVK EMRI (Emergency Management and Research Institute) for pending pay hikes.

The ambulance workers’ pay structures, timely hikes, allowances all have been managed by the GVK EMRI (Emergency Management and Research Institute).  The workers alleged that the management has not dispersed their 15% pay hike for the past five months. The petitioners reported that the management has been threatening them for posing repeated requests.  As promised, they have failed to incorporate as permanent workers, we still are working as contractual labourers, they grieved.

Hence, they have requested the Tamil Nadu State Government to intervene in the issue and help them to get their pending pay hikes and justice regarding their employment.
