The police today arrested two persons suspecting burglary and recovered 4.5 sovereign of gold from their possession.
The police during patrolling at Saibaba Colony, held two suspicious persons, Muthupandi from Vyshal Street and Kannan from Gandhipark. On investigation, the police officials concluded that the suspects were burglars and were involved in two recent burglary in the city. Upon physical frisking, they recovered 4.5 sovereign of gold chain from them. The duo were arrested and taken for further inquiry.
