Chennai: A 30-year-old man died and ten others suffered injuries when a Porsche car hit the median on the Dr Radhakrishnan Salai in Chennai and ploughed through autorickshaws parked on the roadside in the early hours of Monday.

Police said V Vikas, a student and a resident of T Nagar, and his friend Charan Kumar were returning home after attending a party thrown by Tuti Patriot, who won the Tamil Nadu Premier League final held at Chepauk on Sunday night. The duo escaped unhurt as the airbags were deployed when the car hit the median at a high speed.
