Woman caught red-handed in bus for stealing mobile

A woman pickpocket was caught red-handed when she attempted to steal a mobile phone from a college student. 

Ashok Kumar (19) from Tirupur is studying in a private college in Coimbatore. Yesterday, he was traveling back home after the college in a private bus. When the bus reached Avinashi road, a woman who pretended to be a co-passenger tried to steal Ashok's mobile from his pocket. Ashok alerted by the incident, caught the women red-handed along with the help of other passengers. The woman was handed over to Peelamedu police station. Upon, investigation the woman was identified as Kalaivani (35) hailing from Perumanallur, Tiruppur.
