Hindu Munani calls for a state-wide bandh, bus transport affected at certain places in the city

Yesterday night, the attack by some unidentified persons using lethal weapons on Sasikumar, Spokesperson of Hindu Munani and his death thereafter has shocked the Hindu Munani members. 

Since the death news of Sasikumar, broke out, the City Police have tightened the security measures. To be on the safer side, a few educational institutions have declared a holiday, after the party has called in for a state-wide bandh.

In Tirupur: Private bus operators have stalled their operations at Palladam road, Uthukuli road, Kongu main road and Avinashi road. 

Most of the shops remain closed in the suburb areas. 

It is reported that few buses in Kaundampalyam, Gounder Mills, PN Palayam, Chinna Vedapatti, Karummathampatti, Tiruppur to Dharapuram route have been targeted by the agitators.
