Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation (CCMC) Special Officer, Dr. Vijayakarthikeyan today inspected the shops in and around Ukkadam area as a part of the drive to create awareness on using cloth bags instead of plastic carry bags.
During this inspection, the Special Officer interacted with shop owners and customers and educated them on the merits of using cloth bags and the environment hazards creating by plastics bags.
