About 170 children from 40 schools from in and around the city participated in the Children’s Day celebration that was organized by ALG Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Puliyakulam.
A fancy dress event was organized as a part of the celebrations. Kinder garden students came dressed resenting various personalities and themes. Their also recited a few lines on the themes that they were dressed in. They conveyed paramount messages like switching to eco-friendly products, keeping the city clean, thirukural and famous phrases of personalities.
Addressing the parents, Ramya Priya, Principal, ALG Matriculation School, stated that “The aim of organising this fancy dress event is to motivate and boost the confidence of the children and help them to get rid of stage fear. And, that is why all children who participated were given a prize. Such events also provide as a platform for the kids to display their talents.”
