The R.S. Puram police received a tip-off that some people are indulging in gambling on the busy streets of Samabandham Road in R. S. Puram.
A team of police led by Sub-Inspector Balachandar conducted an inquiry in the suspected areas. It came to light that Ramesh, Easwaran, Sivakumar, Anandh, and Sundaram were gambling using cards. Police arrested all 5 of them and recovered Rs.25,000 cash from them.
