Husband wife duo Nagaraj and Sumathy live in Kamarajapuram in RS Puram, Coimbatore. The couple’s 13-year old son Dharanidharan is currently studying in a school in Poo-Market. When Dharanidharan was playing in school it has been reported that his Maths teacher beat him with a stick. Dharanidharan who reached home was crying went to bed without informing his parents about the incident.
It has also been reported that this is not the first time that this teacher is beating Dharanidharan. The maths teacher continued to beat Dharanidharan and the boy informed his parents of these incidents. The boy’s parents reached his school and subsequently Dharanidharan was admitted to the Coimbatore Government Hospital (GH).
Dharanidharan's father speaking of this incident said, “We complained to the headmaster about the way the maths teacher treated my son. However, no action was taken. The concerned authorities should take immediate action against the teacher and the school authorities for the mistreating my son.” he said.
