CPI protests over mysterious deaths at Isha Yoga; Demand judicial probe

The Communist Party of India (CPI) protested in front of the Coimbatore South Tahsildar's office demanding a judicial inquiry into the alleged mysterious death of a woman who had gone to the Isha Yoga Center for training.


Coimbatore: The Communist Party of India (CPI), led by former MLA Arumugam staged a protest in front of the Coimbatore South Tahsildar's office, demanding a judicial inquiry into the alleged mysterious death of Subashree who had gone to the Isha Yoga Center for training but was found dead in a well in the Semmedu area.



The incident has created a stir in Coimbatore, with several political parties demanding a proper probe into the death of Subashree.



The CPI members demanded that those responsible for Subhasree's death should be immediately identified and arrested, and a judicial inquiry should be conducted into the series of mysterious deaths in Isha Yoga.



More than 50 people participated in the protest and raised slogans.
