This Privacy Policy explains how SimpliCity ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website (simplicity.in) and mobile app (together, the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Location: We use your selected city to show you hyperlocal content covering Coimbatore, Pollachi, Valparai, Tiruppur, Dharapuram, and Udumalpettai. We do not currently request or collect precise GPS location — this is manual city selection only.

Language preference: English, Tamil, or Hindi, based on what you select.

Device information: We collect a device identifier solely to deliver push notifications to your device. It is not used for tracking, profiling, or advertising purposes.

Usage data: We do not track which specific articles, videos, or pages you personally view, and we do not collect likes or comments (the Service does not currently offer these features). We do use Firebase to collect aggregate app usage statistics and crash/performance data.

Account information: SimpliCity does not currently require or offer user accounts, sign-in, or login of any kind.

Cookies (website): simplicity.in does not currently use cookies for analytics or advertising.

2. How We Use Information

To deliver news and content relevant to your selected city and language; to operate and improve the Service; to respond to inquiries sent via Contact Us. Beyond login credentials (once account features are introduced) and the device identifier used for push notifications, the only other data collected is the aggregate app usage and crash data gathered automatically by Firebase.

3. Third-Party Services

Our Service embeds content from YouTube for video content, and uses our cloud service provider for image and media hosting, and Firebase (Google) for app analytics and crash reporting.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. The Service may display advertisements, but our advertisements do not collect any user data — they are shown in rotation to all users without targeting or tracking. We do not share your data with advertisers or other third parties.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
