Park College of Engineering and Technology celebrated its 11th State Level Inter Engineering Hockey and Football Tournaments, with over 300 alumni participating, marking a display of sportsmanship and alumni unity on March 2, 2024.
Coimbatore: In a significant display of sportsmanship and alumni solidarity, Park College of Engineering and Technology recently played host to the 11th State Level Inter Engineering Hockey and Football Tournaments, known respectively as the Park Alumni Hockey Trophy & Park Alumni Football Trophy, on March 2, 2024.

The Park CET Alumnus stands out for pioneering this tournament for Anna University affiliated engineering students, making the Hockey Alumni Trophy a cornerstone event in its 11th successful year, symbolizing the enduring spirit and unity of the college community.
Beyond the competition, the event offered a platform for alumni to contribute back to their alma mater through mentorship and networking, aiding their juniors in building successful careers and overcoming challenges with confidence.
The tournament saw participation from 24 teams across 12 engineering colleges for hockey and 18 teams for football, demonstrating the widespread enthusiasm and competitive spirit among the participants.


The hockey tournament celebrated Adhiyaman College of Engineering as the winner, with Shree Shakti Institute of Technology as the runner-up, and the Park Alumni (PCET) securing the third place. In the football tournament, the JCT College of Engineering and Technology ‘B’ Team emerged as winners, followed by PARK Alumni, JCT College of Engineering and Technology ‘A’ Team, and Park College of Engineering and Technology as the second, third, and fourth runners-up respectively.
Dr. Anusha Ravi, CEO of Park Institutions, graced the occasion by distributing prizes and highlighted the continuous efforts of the Park alumni in organizing the tournament.
