Interactive Session with Industries Minister Dr T R B Rajaa Ignites Growth Conversations in Coimbatore

On 28 March 2024, CII Coimbatore and Young Indians hosted an interactive session with Dr T R B Rajaa, Industries Minister of Tamil Nadu, in Coimbatore, discussing Tamil Nadu's industrial growth, diversity, and branding.


Coimbatore: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Coimbatore, in collaboration with Young Indians, Coimbatore, organized an Interactive Session with Dr T R B Rajaa, the Honorable Minister for Industries, Government of Tamil Nadu, on 28 March 2024, in Coimbatore.

The event saw participation from various sectoral associations and industry representatives who engaged in dialogue with the Minister.Interacting with the attendees, Dr Rajaa highlighted Tamil Nadu's role as a pivotal growth engine for the nation.



He emphasized the state's potential to outpace other states in terms of growth in the upcoming years, attributing this optimism to the unique diversity of India, which he believes strengthens and propels the country's growth. Dr Rajaa underscored the importance of recognizing diverse opinions and working towards the societal good, mentioning the government's focus on enhancing the social infrastructure of the state to further drive national growth.

Furthermore, Dr Rajaa advocated for the branding of Tamil Nadu, urging entrepreneurs and citizens to promote the state's industrial and urban development achievements. Despite being a leading manufacturing hub and the most urbanized state, he pointed out the lack of external marketing for Tamil Nadu's capabilities.



He also shared insights on the Government of Tamil Nadu's efforts, including the successful Global Investors Meet, which aims to accelerate industrial growth. The investments from major companies like the Tata Group and VinFast were highlighted as evidence of these initiatives' success.The session began with a welcome address by Dr K Senthil Ganesh, Past Chairman of CII Coimbatore, who thanked Dr Rajaa for his dedication to industrial development.

The event was concluded by Mr Vishnu Prabhakar, Chair of Yi Coimbatore, who requested the Minister for more such interactive sessions in the future.
