DMK North District Secretary Tho. A. Ravi inaugurated a medical camp in Coimbatore's 5th ward, marking the party's diamond jubilee celebrations. The event aimed to provide free healthcare services to over 1000 residents.
Coimbatore: A grand medical camp was inaugurated in Coimbatore's 5th ward, Saravanampatti area, as part of the DMK's diamond jubilee celebrations. The event was jointly organized by the 5th ward DMK, Lions Public Charitable Trust, and Muthu's Hospital.
Tho. A. Ravi, DMK North District Secretary, inaugurated the camp. Special invitees including Deputy Secretary Ashok Babu Arukutti, Minority Rights Division District President Arokiya John, and Area Committee Secretary Ponnusamy, along with Ward Councilor Naveen, participated in the event.
Speaking about the medical camp, Ward Secretary Kannan said, "We are conducting this grand medical camp in collaboration with Lions Public Charitable Trust and Muthu's Hospital to commemorate DMK's diamond jubilee. The camp offers various health services including general check-ups for children, diabetes and blood pressure tests, treatment for non-healing wounds and diabetic ulcers, consultations for hand, leg, and joint-related issues, advice on heart attack treatments, and diagnosis of gallbladder stones and hernias."
The camp, which started at 9 AM and continued till evening, aimed to benefit more than 1000 people from the ward. Deputy Secretary V. Sundararajan and many others participated in this medical camp, providing free healthcare services to the local community.
