A comprehensive two-day investigation at Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore has concluded. Coimbatore SP Karthikeyan announced that the report will be filed in court tomorrow.
Coimbatore: Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police Karthikeyan announced that the extensive two-day investigation at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore has concluded. He stated that the investigation report would be filed in court tomorrow (October 4).
Following the Madras High Court's order, six teams led by Coimbatore District SP Karthikeyan, District Social Welfare Officer Ambika, and Child Welfare Department officials conducted the investigation at the Isha Center over the past two days.
During the investigation, rooms at the Isha Center were searched. Documents, including visas of foreign visitors staying at the center, were verified. The investigating team also questioned children residing and studying at the Isha school premises and women who have taken monastic vows.
On the second day of the investigation, officials from the Health Department, Drug Control Inspector, Food Safety Department, and a mental health counselor participated. SP Karthikeyan stated that all criminal cases against the Isha Center were reviewed.
SP Karthikeyan mentioned that all details related to the Isha Yoga Center will be reported to the court, and complaints filed by the Isha Center will also be examined. Following the conclusion of the investigation, government department vehicles left the Isha Center premises.
