Sulur Police Seize 2 Kg Ganja and 1,200 Tapentadol Tablets, Two Arrested

Coimbatore: Sulur Police have arrested two persons and seized approximately 2 kg of ganja and 1,200 Tapentadol tablets near Chinthamanipudur, as part of ongoing efforts to eradicate narcotic drugs in the district.
Based on specific information received by Sulur Police regarding the possession of ganja for sale, the police conducted a raid near Chinthamanipudur, today. During the operation, Vishnu Prabhu (19), and Manikandan (29) who were found in possession of the contraband, were arrested.
The police seized approximately 2 kg of ganja and 1,200 Tapentadol tablets from their possession. The duo were subsequently produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.
The public are requested to come forward without hesitation and share information regarding persons involved in such illegal activities.
