Rotaract Club of Kovai Knights Turns Wall Art into a Message for Polio Eradication

Coimbatore: The Rotaract Club of Kovai Knights organised “Wall-E,” a wall-painting initiative aimed at promoting polio vaccination and eradication in Coimbatore on October 24.

The painting, created opposite Chinthamani Petrol Bunk, was inaugurated by Rotary District Governor Maruti R. S. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about polio prevention, the importance of vaccination and the collective efforts needed to achieve a polio-free world.

By transforming a public wall into a medium of communication, the club sought to keep the message of polio eradication visible to the community. The initiative highlighted how art can go beyond beautification to promote public awareness and inspire positive social change.

Through “Wall-E,” the Rotaract Club of Kovai Knights reaffirmed its commitment to community service and public participation in the global effort to eradicate polio, the organisers said.
