Three youths arrested for cell phone theft in Tirupur

According to the police, Devendran's mobile phone was stolen by Tamilarasan (22), son of Balan, Surya Prakash (20), son of Kuppusamy and Gopinath (23), son of Nagaraj of Hanumanthapuram.



Tirupur: Police have arrested three youths in connection with the theft of a mobile phone at Dharapuram in Tirupur district.

Murugesan's son Devendran (30) is a resident of Annai Sathya Nagar in Pachampalayam, Dharapuram. He was a labourer and had fallen asleep outside his house on the night of July 15 after returning from work. At that time, some people came there and stole Devendran's mobile phone worth Rs 10,000.

Based on the complaint lodged by Devendran, Dharapuram police have registered a case and are investigating. According to the police, Devendran's mobile phone was stolen by Tamilarasan (22), son of Balan, Surya Prakash (20), son of Kuppusamy and Gopinath (23), son of Nagaraj of Hanumanthapuram.

Following this, the police arrested the three and sent them to jail.
