The students of Pethappampatti Government Higher Secondary School near Udumalai in Tirupur district are being encouraged in various ways.

Hockey sticks, shoes, pads and goal-blocking equipment worth Rs 50,000 were distributed through a social activist.

Principal Karthikeyan, who was present on the occasion, distributed the equipment. Physical education teacher Senthil Kumar had made arrangements for this.
