Independence Day Celebrations - Tiruppur Collector falls at the feet of teacher who taught him in school and seeks blessings

District Collector Christuraj paid homage to freedom fighters by garlanding them with shawls at the Independence Day celebrations in Tirupur. He then fell at the feet of the teacher of the school where he studied and sought his blessings.



Tirupur: District Collector Christuraj, who hoisted the national flag at the Independence Day celebrations and paid homage, distributed welfare assistance to people from various walks of life.

The 77th Independence Day of India is being celebrated across the country today with great enthusiasm.

On the occasion of Independence Day, the Tirupur district administration attended the Chikkanna Government Arts College on College Road and hoisted the national flag and took the salute of the police parade.



He felicitated the police personnel with certificates and medals for their outstanding work. On behalf of various departments, he distributed welfare assistance worth 34,36,633 rupees and garlanded the freedom fighters with shawls.

Following this, District Collector Christuraj garlanded the teacher of the school where he studied and fell at his feet and sought his blessings.
