Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Coimbatore Organizes Training on Value-Added Products from Mushroom and Moringa

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University in Coimbatore is conducting a two-day training program on April 28-29, 2026, to teach participants how to prepare value-added products from mushrooms and moringa. The training will be held at the Post Harvest Technology Centre, covering various food products with a fee of Rs.1,770.


Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) in Coimbatore is set to conduct a comprehensive two-day training program on preparing value-added products from mushrooms and moringa. The training will take place on April 28 and 29, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Post Harvest Technology Centre, Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute.



The training program will cover an extensive range of food products derived from both mushrooms and moringa. Participants will learn to prepare moringa powder, dal powder, sambar powder, biscuits, adai mix, pickles, and noodles from moringa. From mushrooms, the training will include preparation of mushroom powder, soup mix, biscuits, pickles, and extrusion technology.

Interested candidates will need to pay a fee of Rs.1,770 (Rs.1,500 plus 18% GST) on the first day of training. The program has limited seats with a maximum of 30 participants being admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.
