Coimbatore: Ward 27 Councillor Ambika Dhanapal of Coimbatore Corporation's North Zone in Singanalur Assembly constituency conducted field inspections of various development works in the Peelamedu area today.

Initially, Councillor Ambika Dhanapal visited and inspected the Singanalur Cooperative Fair Price Shop operating in Rajagopal Layout area. She enquired with residents whether essential commodities including rice, wheat, and sugar were being distributed properly. Fair price shop employees and members of the public participated in the interaction.

Subsequently, the Councillor inspected cleaning work of roadside plants and debris on Avarampalayam Main Road in front of ABC Matriculation School. As schools are reopening on June 4 after summer vacation, she directed Ward Supervisor Easwar to immediately clear the cleaned plant waste and debris.

Following this, Councillor Ambika Dhanapal personally inspected drainage cleaning work on NGR Street and ESI Compound area. Noting that it was a narrow road, the Councillor instructed the Ward Supervisor to remove the cleaned drainage silt within two days without causing inconvenience to the public.
