V. Rangaswamy Elected as CODISSIA President for 2026–2028

V. Rangaswamy was unanimously elected as the President of CODISSIA for the 2026–2028 term at the Association’s 57th Annual General Meeting in Coimbatore. Vijay Anand was elected as Honorary Secretary, and several resolutions concerning the MSME sector were passed for submission to the Central and State governments.

Coimbatore: V. Rangaswamy has been unanimously elected as the President of the Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (CODISSIA) for the 2026–2028 term at the Association’s 57th Annual General Meeting held on Friday at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex in Coimbatore.

Rangaswamy becomes the 30th President to lead the influential industry body, which represents the interests of small and medium enterprises in the region.

At the meeting, Vijay Anand was elected as the Honorary Secretary, while the new team of office-bearers and Executive Committee members for the 2026–2028 term was also elected.



The Association stated that all office-bearers and committee members were elected unanimously by the members, reflecting a broad consensus within the organisation.

During the Annual General Meeting, members also deliberated on various issues concerning the MSME sector and passed several resolutions. These resolutions will be submitted to the relevant authorities of both the Central and State governments for consideration and necessary action.

CODISSIA has been playing a pivotal role in promoting industrial growth, entrepreneurship and policy advocacy for micro, small and medium enterprises in the Coimbatore region and across Tamil Nadu.
