Southern Railway has announced temporary regulation of two long-distance train services on July 6, 8 and 11 due to sleeper renewal works between Magudanchavadi and Virapandy Road railway stations in the Erode–Salem section.
Chennai: Southern Railway has announced the temporary regulation of two express train services due to sleeper renewal works being carried out between Magudanchavadi and Virapandy Road railway stations in the Erode–Salem section.
According to railway authorities, Train No. 18190 Ernakulam–Tatanagar Express will be regulated by 50 minutes at a convenient location en route on July 6, 8 and 11, 2026.
Similarly, Train No. 13352 Alappuzha–Dhanbad Express will be regulated by 20 minutes at a convenient location en route on the same dates.
Southern Railway said the temporary regulation is necessary to facilitate the safe execution of the scheduled sleeper renewal works.
Passengers travelling on these trains have been advised to take note of the temporary regulation and plan their journeys accordingly.
