Coimbatore: The Electricity Board has announced a scheduled power cut tomorrow (July 14) in various areas under the Periyanaickenpalayam substation jurisdiction due to monthly maintenance work. The power disruption will be in effect from 9 AM to 5 PM.
The maintenance work at the Periyanaickenpalayam substation is part of the routine monthly upkeep activities to ensure the smooth functioning of the power distribution network. According to the official announcement made by the Electricity Board today, residents and businesses in the affected areas should prepare for the eight-hour power outage.
The areas that will experience power disruption include Periyanaickenpalayam, Naickenpalayam, Koovanur, Koodalur, Kaoundampalayam, Jothipuram, Press Colony, Veerapandi, Sengalippalayam, Poochiyur, Samanayakkanpalayam, Athipalayam, Govindanayakkanpalayam, and Maniyakkarampalayam. Residents in these localities are advised to make necessary arrangements to cope with the temporary power suspension during the specified hours.
