Grand Vinayagar Celebrations at Rakkipalayam: Hindu Munnani Organizes Elaborate Setup with Prayers and Community Feast

Hindu Munnani organized grand Vinayagar Chaturthi celebrations at Rakkipalayam in Coimbatore with an elaborate setup featuring a massive Vinayagar idol. The event included early morning Ganapathi homam, evening procession, Malai Jamab, drums music performance, and annadhanam for all devotees who gathered in large numbers.


Coimbatore: Hindu Munnani organized grand Vinayagar Chaturthi celebrations at Rakkipalayam area in Coimbatore, setting up an elaborate structure with a massive Vinayagar idol for worship. The event witnessed large participation from surrounding areas with devotees gathering to offer prayers throughout the day.

The celebrations commenced with an early morning Ganapathi homam, attracting crowds of devotees from neighboring localities who came for darshan. The festivities continued into the evening with a grand procession of the Vinayagar idol, accompanied by Malai Jamab and drums music performances. Annadhanam was served to all attendees as part of the community celebration.

Vinayagar Chaturthi is being celebrated with great fervor across the nation today. Tamil Nadu has joined in the celebrations with elaborate arrangements, featuring massive idols, annadhanam services, and processions being organized in various locations.

In Coimbatore, over 300 Vinayagar idols have been installed and consecrated across different areas including Thudiyalur, ITI, Aravan Thidal, Rangammal Colony, NGGO Colony, Narasimhanayakkanpalayam, Rakkipalayam, Pannimadai, and ABM Nagar. These installations have been organized by Hindu organizations and local residents, with worship services being conducted at all locations.

As part of these widespread celebrations, Hindu Munnani organized the grand setup at Rakkipalayam with a spectacular structure housing a large Vinayagar idol. The early morning Ganapathi homam drew massive crowds from surrounding areas who came to seek the deity's blessings. The evening program featured a procession of the Vinayagar idol through the streets, along with Malai Jamab and drums music performances that added to the festive atmosphere. Community annadhanam was organized to serve all participants.

The arrangements for this grand celebration were coordinated by District Secretary Padayappa alias Muthukumar, Hindu Munnani administrators Dinesh, Gnanasekhar, Arun, Naveen, Krishna Murthy, and local residents who worked together to make the event a success.
