Park Group of Institutions has initiated the process towards MoUs with South Korean universities after participating in an India-Korea delegate meet held in Chennai on September 20, 2026. The meet, organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea, NIIED, and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Chennai, was inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Higher Education Minister P. Viswanathan and saw participation from 12 South Korean universities. Dr. M. Prince, Director-Placements at PARK, represented the institution and interacted with delegates and Consul General Hye Ran Chun. The discussions focused on academic cooperation, student exchange, mobility, and cultural exchange, with CEO Dr. Anusha Ravi highlighting benefits for students and faculty.
The meet was organized jointly by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea, NIIED, and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Chennai, to explore avenues for India-Korea academic cooperation. It was inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Higher Education Minister P. Viswanathan, and delegates representing 12 universities from South Korea took part in the event.
Dr. M. During the discussions, the process towards MoUs with South Korean universities was initiated, with focus areas including academic cooperation, student exchange and mobility, and cultural and international exchange.
Speaking about the meet, Dr. Anusha Ravi, CEO, PARK Group of Institutions, said the proposed partnerships can provide students with opportunities for overseas exposure, mobility, internships and collaborative learning, while enabling faculty members to engage in joint research, academic exchange and professional development.
