The Central Government's effort on construction of harbor at Colachel is much appreciated, it's a 60 year soulful dream of every Tamilian, he asserted. The harbor will pave way for increased job opportunities around the area and sizeable increase in export volumes. He outraged on the statement issued by the Chief Minister of Kerala, opposing the construction of Colachel harbor.

The deployment of Special Action Force had put 1228 innocent people behind bars and the decision of the High Court to authorize the Humans Rights Commission to hold enquiries is commendable, he added.

When asked about the ongoing Lawyers protest, he suggested that the Chief Minister and the Ministry of law should discuss in detail about the contradicting factors and arrive to an appropriate solution.

He cited the ISIS suspect incident at Tirupur and hence insisted that proper scrutiny should be done before renting out to unknown people. He also evoked the resignation of Former RBI Governor, Raghuram Rajan and grieved that India has missed a great officer and alleged that Narendra Modi should have opted for continuation of Raghuram's regime.

He insisted that the State Government should at least grant parole to the accused in Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, he concluded his meeting by extending his support to Vasan's view to hold a all party discussion meet to resolve the persistent issues of Tamilnadu Fishermen.
