Young social entrepreneurs of the City invites people to celebrate Independence Day


Coimbatore City is all set to celebrate the Nations's 70th Independence day, tomorrow.

Close to 850 police personnels have been deployed by the City Commissioner to ensure safe Independence day celebrations. 

A Special Independence day event has been planned by a group of young social entrepreneurs of the city with Dr. Vijaya Karthikeyan as the Chief Guest. The event would commence at 7:30 am till 9:00 am at the Ukkadam Periyakulam area.

'It is a Coimbatorians event, we welcome all the people of the city to join us on the event to jointly pay our City's tribute to our Nation's 70th Independence day', stated the Organisers

Enticing cultural and sports events will be featured at the event.
