Forest officials confirm Leopard movement in Marudhamalai

Vellingiri, a resident at the foothills of Marudhamalai had been involved in grazing livestocks around the foothills area. Yesterday, after grazing his 15 cows he returned back to his residence and noticed that one of his cow had gone missing. After a frantic search, he found his cow in a dead state with brutal injuries around it's abdomen region.

Vellingiri escalated the issue to the forest officials who after proper scrutiny confirmed that the animal death has been attacked by a leopard. The forest officials have set a keen watch to ascertain any leopard movement and also cautioned the people to be aware of the situation.
