A woman from Selvapuram today approached the Collectorate to file a petition against the cops at the Selvapuram Police Station.
She stated in her petition that, Muniappan and Geetha a couple who work as sanitary workers at the Selvapuram Police Station have been persistently squabbling with her over petty issues. Hence, she lodged a complaint against the Couple at the Selvapuram Police Station.
She alleged that Sub Inspector Sivan and women police Ponkodi had humiliated her at the police station by making her fall in the Couple's feet and seek apology. Hence, she has decided to escalate the issue to the District Collector to investigate on the issue and devise stern action against the Cops.
