Two burglary incidents reported at Rathinapuri

Gold ornaments and cash were burgled from two houses in Rathinapuri in the last two days.

The house of Sastha Kumar resident of VOC Nagar, Rathinapuri was burgled when the family members were away for a leisure trip. 

In the other incident, the house of Dhavamani (70). Angalaeeshwari (45) of Sampath Nagar, Rathinapuri was also burgled, in their absence. The Rathinapuri police have filed cases against the burglaries and set a keen watch over the area during the night.

However, residents are struck in panic after consecutive burglary incidents in densely populated residential areas. They have requested the Police to increase the night patrolling at Rathinapuri.
