Students allege consultancy for fake promise of medical seats


ADAM trust an educational consultancy from the city has been alleged to have duped students by making false promises of obtaining MBBS seats at renowned institutes abroad.

Manoj, a victim reported to the press that “ADAM trust has deceived the students by luring them with seats from renowned medical institutes at Russia and finally placing them at unrecognised institutes'. 

He sated that, last year in May 2015, 28 students had paid Rs. 6 lakhs each for procuring medical seats in Saint Petersburg First Parlor, State Medical University. The consultancy has taken the students to Russia but shockingly admitted them at a different medical institute. The students in a short while learned that the medical institute was an unrecognised institute. The students returned back to India and lodged a complaint with the police against the fraudulent activity of the consultancy.

Currently, the students alleged that the Police have not devised any action against the consultancy, till date. The consultancy is still engaged in deceiving the students. Hence, the students urged that the case should be shifted to a new set of police personnel and immediate action against the consultancy should be initiated to safeguard the interests of the students.
