CSR initiative by Canara bank, donates bus to Sankara eye hospital

As a part of Corporate Social responsibility (CSR) activity Canara Bank today donated a bus to the Sankara Eye Hospital, Saravanampatti for charity purpose. The vehicle will be specially utilised to bring poor people from villages for eye treatments to the hospital.



The Executive Director of Canara Bank, B.Harideesh Kumar handed over the vehicle to the Sankara hospital management. The General Manager, M. Paramasivam and other staffs of Sankara eye hospital were present for the event. 

Canara Bank apart from banking business activities has always taken a good lead in Social activities by it’s own or by partnering with like-minded organisations in thematic areas of livelihood, education, to create a measurable impact on economic and social conditions of the weaker and vulnerable sections of the people in the country.
