SKCET signs memorandum of association with COINDIA

The department of Mechanical Engineering of Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (SKCET) recently has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Coimbatore Industrial Infrastructure Association (COINDIA). 



After exchanging the MoU, the president of COINDIA, Mahendra Ramdas, said that 'It is a kind of exchanging, sharing, coordinating the ideas, recent developments and innovations etc., between industry and academia. It is important to impart the students with right learning, knowledge and develop core skills. MoU serves to address the gap between Industries and academia and to make the students employable and industry-ready. These kinds of MoU caters to the needs of industry and fulfill the basic requirements of the educational institutions. A series of programs have been planned to inculcate state of art technology in curriculum & syllabus along with industry based training on CAD/CAM/CAE, internship, and regular Industrial visits' 

Mahendra Ramdas, President, S.Kuppusamy, Vice President of COINDIA, Dr.S.Annadurai, Principal of Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology and Dr.P.Ashoka Varthanan, Head of Mechanical Engineering jointly signed the MoU and exchanged the MoU. D.Rajaji, Head Training & Development, COINDIA, Dr.N.Balaji, Prof.A.Rajesh, and Prof.C.Samson of Mechanical Engineering department were present during the event.
