Temple festival: traffic diversion today


In view of the Koniamman Temple car procession on Wednesday, traffic will be diverted from 12 noon to 8 p.m.

Lorries will not be allowed to enter city limits from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Vehicles from Avinashi Road Flyover to Ukkadam should take Goods Shed Road, Big Bazaar Street and Vincent Road.

Vehicles from Mettupalayam Road, Sukrawarpet, Flower Market and Brookebond Road, to Ukkadam, should take Avinashi Road Flyover and reach Vincent Road.

Palakkad Road

All vehicles entering the city from Pollachi Road and Palakkad Road should take Valankulam Bypass to Sungam or Perur Bypass Road.

Vehicles from Pollachi to Trichy Road and Gandhipuram should take the Ukkadam Bypass to the Classic Tower.

Those heading to Gandhipuram should pass along the Railway Junction from Classic Tower Junction.

Vehicles from Thadagam Road to Palakkad Road should take the Ponnaiahrajapuram, Chokkampudur, Sivalaya Theatre, Perur Bypass route to reach Ukkadam.

Perur Road

Vehicles from Perur Road to Gandhipark should take Sivalaya Theatre, Chokkampudur, Ponnaiahrajapuram and Thadagam Road.
